If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the app. We may update these terms from time to time, and your continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

Grounded is an AI-powered speech coaching application that provides voice training, feedback, and progress tracking. The app uses artificial intelligence to analyze your speech recordings and provide personalized feedback on tone, pacing, structure, pronunciation, and language patterns. The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.

To use Grounded, you must create an account through our authentication system. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to provide accurate information during registration and to update your information as needed. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

You retain ownership of all audio recordings and content you create through the app. By using Grounded, you grant us a limited license to process, analyze, and store your recordings solely for the purpose of providing the speech coaching service. We do not claim ownership of your content and will not use your recordings for any purpose other than delivering the service to you, as described in our Privacy Policy.

The feedback, scores, and analysis provided by Grounded are generated by artificial intelligence and are intended as general guidance for speech improvement. This feedback is not a substitute for professional speech therapy, medical advice, or clinical diagnosis. Results may vary, and we do not guarantee specific outcomes from using the app. You should use your own judgment when applying any feedback to real-world situations.

All content, features, and functionality of Grounded — including but not limited to the design, code, text, graphics, logos, drill content, phrase libraries, and AI models — are owned by us and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on any part of the app without our prior written consent.

We strive to keep Grounded available at all times, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The app may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time, with or without notice.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Grounded and its creators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the app. Our total liability for any claim related to the service shall not exceed the amount you paid for the service in the twelve months preceding the claim. Since the app is currently free, this amount is zero.

You may stop using Grounded at any time. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms or engage in conduct that we determine, in our sole discretion, to be harmful to the app, other users, or third parties. Upon termination, your right to use the app ceases immediately, though provisions that by their nature should survive termination will remain in effect.

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the app shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If negotiation fails, disputes shall be submitted to binding arbitration in accordance with applicable rules.
